This plywood has a thickness tolerance of +/-15% of the material thickness. The thickness is usually 1/32" to 1/16" less than the nominal thickness.
This plywood has a smooth face. Can have a tendency to bow or cup if not held flat, especially with the thinner sheets.
Some core voids and/or knots may be exposed during machining and are not considered defects. May have color variations and/or knots on occasion, especially on the back face. Strong and lightweight. Paints well.
Typical uses
Great for shelving, cabinets, fixtures, boxes, prototyping; often used with a solid wood strip, molding or edgebanding to cover the edges
Adhesives, joints & fastenings
Takes fasteners well but pre-drilling is recommended. Glues well with standard woodworking glues, hot melt or construction adhesive.
